Looks Rare… or does it?
Battle Warriors — Vikings of ETH isn’t like most other NFT projects, when players mint their warriors, they will have the option to upgrade or change there looks. You will never just be stuck with a common warrior that you don’t like, you have the power to make your Viking warriors look the way you want and gain special abilities. The 9 “Stones of Power” play a big role especially early on in helping shape not just the look but the stats of each warrior. Most items will either fall into the category of “basic” or “powered” and each will have different levels, most basic items will be level 1 while powered will start at level 2.
After players mint their Vikings they will be able to mint item chests. In these chests new weapons and armor can be found along with “Power Stones” which can be combined to upgrade other items. Each of the stones different colors represents different powers and Vikings with multiple items of the same power gain extra stat bonuses. Warrior “Stats” will be covered in the next post but powers will boost or decrease those base stats, for example a Viking Warrior with using “Rage Powered” items will get “Strength” and “Attack” boosts that increases as “Health” drops but this increase to attacking stats will also come with a decrease to “Defense” and “Agility”. There will be lots of interesting combinations players will get to try and figure out but until quests, mini-games, etc. are available these powered items will used primarily for looks. Below is a look from the “Armory” with all of the different “Dagger” possibilities along with some different Vikings showing how you can customize your warrior’s gear to make them look how you want.
